GEEK Festival

Family entertainment for half term, GEEK is three days of spectacle, challenges, talks, workshops and hundreds of games to play.

Highlights for 2017 will include the official 25th anniversary Nintendo Mario Kart Challenge in real bumper cars and a chance to play the award winning 250 player game, Renga. 

Build a team and sign up for the Dreamland Tournament of games, take part in coding and robot making workshops and visit the exclusive exhibition of 2000AD work to celebrate their 40th Anniversary.

The GEEK Dreamland compendium of games will also include traditional pub games, new board games, Cosplay, LARP and the Indie Zone where you can meet the makers and tell them what you think would make their games better.

All this plus Raspberry Pi, ESports, a Minecraft cave and much more!

For the purposes of the GEEK event a Child is aged between 5 and 14 years inclusive (under 12s must be accompanied by an Adult). All children between the ages of 0 and 4 years old can enter the event for FREE. An Adult is considered to be 15 years and over. Evening tickets are only available for Adults. There will, however, be some over 18s only areas at the evening event. This includes daytime and evening combination tickets.

For the purposes of this event a family of 4 ticket is valid for a group consisting of 2 Adults and 2 Children.
