SHAKESPEARE SCHOOLS FESTIVAL 2016

SEE SHAKESPEARE PERFORMED AS YOU’VE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE!

Celebrating 400 years of ‘sound and fury’ Shakespeare Schools Festival is proud to present a series of unique performances by children from all over Kent.
This is more than an event for the parents of participating schools. All local schools can see Shakespeare interpreted by children of their own age. This is a wonderful opportunity for schools to introduce children to the language, magic and possibilities of Shakespeare.

Tuesday 8 November:
A Midsummer Night’s Dream — Fort Pitt Grammar School, Chatham
Much Ado About Nothing — Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School, Canterbury
Romeo & Juliet — Dame Janet Primary Academy, Ramsgate
The Taming of the Shrew — Dane Court Grammar School, Broadstairs
Wednesday 9 November:
A Midsummer Night’s Dream — Hartsdown Academy, Margate
Macbeth — Bradstow School, Broadstairs
The Tempest — St. Peter-in-Thanet CE Junior School, Broadstairs
Twelfth Night — Chatham and Clarendon Grammar School, Ramsgate
For adults and children alike an evening at Shakespeare Schools Festival will create a night to be treasured and remembered!
