Cate Le Bon + Support

16 Dec 2016

Revelation is delighted to welcome back Cate Le Bon, a singer-songwriter from Penboyr, Wales who combines sounds and styles from the past in a more than creative way.

Le Bon cites the band Pavement as instigating her musical coming-of-age and is sometimes lumped into the ‘nu-folk’ genre with other artists such as Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom, however Le Bon approaches her music in a less eccentric and more demure way.

Le Bon’s debut album Me Oh My came out in 2009 and her third album Mug Museum was released late last year to critical acclaim. Le Bon plays with all kinds of moods in her music, creating a kaleidoscope of feelings.

She has been playlisted on 6 music, and championed by the radio station. Her new album ‘Crab Day’ was released this year and has received huge critical acclaim with a sold out tour in May. Now it’s your chance to see here live, here at Revelation!
