Right Said Fred

This is a first for Thanet, that we know…

Right Said Fred return with their 9th album Exactly! due for release on 24th February 2017. It features an array of special guests and Fred and Richard Fairbrass’ signature mix of tongue-in-cheek observational pop.

They’ve been making music as Right Said Fred for over 25-years since their massive 1991 hit I’m Too Sexy.

Their new single ‘Sweet Treats’ premiered on Ken Bruce’s BBC Radio 2 show and then the guys headed in to see Chris Evans, performing a special acoustic version of the single and ‘I’m Too Sexy’.

Instead of boshing loads of dosh into a video for the single, they gave that money to the charity CRISIS and shot a cheap video in a pub.

Right Said Fred are one of the UK’s most enduring pop acts and in the 25 years they’ve sold in excess of 7 million albums, receiving two Ivor Novello’s as well as a Brit Award nomination for Best British Act along the way. Also playing The Royal Variety Performance and releasing a track for Comic Relief (Stick It Out).

Ramsgate Music Hall will hold the first live club gig in 20 years. Make sure you don’t miss this unique evening hearing the new single ‘Sweet Treats’ along with those huge pop classics!

After 25 years, the brothers remain true to their spirit – doing music their way. It’s testament to their track record and success. Long live Right Said Fred!
