St. Laurence-in-Thanet is a Grade I listed church and can trace its history back to 1062. The architecture is a mix of Norman, Early English and Victorian.

The East Window commemorates the life of Queen Victoria, who worshipped in the church when visiting Ramsgate as a child. The historic churchyard covers three and a half acres and contains over 1,400 graves. 

*Thursday and Friday: Church Open 10am – 3pm, Churchyard Tour 10am. Church Tour 2 pm
*Saturday: Church Open 10am – 3 pm. Tower Tour 11am, 2pm. Church Tour 12pm. Churchyard tour 3pm.
*Sunday: Morning Eucharist Service 10am – 11am, Church Open 11am- 12pm, Baptism 12pm - 1pm and Church open 1pm - 3pm. Church Tour 2pm.

A small display of the Church history and Churchyard will be in the church. No need to book for the tours, just turn up on the day.

Tower access is limited by steps. Secure footwear needed.
