Hunter Davies is the author of innumerable books, fiction and non fiction, many with a Cumbrian connection. His most recent works are his acclaimed memoirs "The Co-op’s Got Bananas" and "A Day in the Life".
His daughter, Caitlin Davies, is a novelist, non-fiction writer, journalist, teacher and former Royal Literary Fund Fellow. Her latest non-fiction book, "Bad Girls: A Century of Women and Crime at Holloway Prison", will be published in March 2018.
They will be in conversation with BroadstairsLit's resident interviewer Jane Wenham-Jones and will be discussing, amongst other things, what it is like to be part of a family of writers.
Ticket price of £15 includes a welcome drink and cheese canapes.
