Gordon House: Returning Now

Performance starts at 7pm with a live performances from four of the Returning NOW artists
Previous artists in Residence return to Gordon House Margate to exhibit their visual and performative responses to the house within the now restored domestic spaces.
This exhibition will be displayed in the domestic spaces of Gordon House, not just in the basement exhibition space. Performance, live art, sound, installation, painting, print, drawing, photography, poetry and music will occupy and become part of the rooms and spaces in Gordon House
Artists’ talk and tour 3 December 4-5.30pm
Before the announcement of the Turner Prize winner later that evening, three of the artists in Returning NOW will give you a guided tour of the house and talk about their work, the house and discuss the journey they have taken.
This group exhibition brings together local and international makers engaged with performance, visual art and cultural heritage. All were previously artists in residence at Gordon House Margate. Their creative responses to the architecture and history of Gordon House, past and present are embedded into the now restored domestic spaces.
