Elissa Cray presents new portraits and landscapes that build the archive of The Pride Portrait at Pie Factory, Margate
Private View – Thursday 4th August 6.30pm- 8.30pm
Elissa Cray presents new portraits and landscapes that build the archive of The Pride Portrait Project in this year’s PRIDE FACTORY installation. Collaborating with Sé Mali, PHD researcher of queer spaces and placemaking at UCL, the project expands to explore both the people and spaces of Margate through photography, audio, film, and a series of community happenings.
The Pride Factory introduces an interactive element to the exhibition inviting the audience to map their stories and Elissa will be hosting a drop-in portrait studio throughout the weekend inviting people to participate and add their portraits to the archive.
