St. Peter's WWII Graves Tours
12th May - 11th November 2021
*Please note the dates are provisional - COVID allowing*
Our WWII Graves Tours remember those who died during or as a result of the 1939-45 World War. There are 14 servicemen buried at St. Peter's, but we also visit the graves of 5 local firemen who were killed while on duty by enemy action.
Like the other St. Peter's Tours, these are guided walking tours around the attractive St Peter's Churchyard, explaining the stories of those who are buried her
Please wear comfortable shoes, as the tour involves walking across uneven ground, and also allow 90 minutes for the tour. Please note that there is some restricted access for visitors with disabilities.
We make no charge, and ask that you honour our servicemen as we do.
Children are very welcome on our tour, but we would suggest a minimum age of 10 years to appreciate the experience.
