The Lido Stores is pleased to present ‘Wet the Bow’ by Benjamin Medd-Phillips, featuring a collection of new and old paintings presented on several different surfaces, many of which are being exhibited for the very first time.

Benjamin Medd-Phillps’ practice is rooted in painting, printmaking and drawing.  As an expat living abroad, his work often exudes nomadic qualities, executed through rhythmic gestures and expressionistic colours. There is never a predetermined plan when he starts a new work in the studio, but rather embraces the unknown outcomes. His work oscillates between figuration and abstraction.
