Powell-Cotton Museum, Quex House and Gardens
Tucked away in Birchington, the museum displays incredible natural history dioramas of animals from the African and Asian continents alongside world-culture collections and local archaeology. Tours of Grade II listed Quex House, displaying furniture and decorative Asian objects from the museums’ collection are available on open days as are the stunning 7 acres of gardens including fully accessible woodland walk, lawns and walled garden.

'Pugin' The Grange and St Augustine’s Church
A Grade I listed house designed and lived in by 19th century architect Augustus Pugin who is best known for the magnificent interiors, furnishings and fittings of the Houses of Parliament. His contribution to the townscape of Ramsgate brought lasting fame to the town and can be seen from the East Cliff to the West Cliff.

St Augustine’s Church next to The Grange is where the family vault is located beneath the Pugin Chantry.
