Be Safe, Stay Alert, Respect and Enjoy
In these difficult times it can be hard to keep everyone entertained be it the children or yourself. To support you we have created a series of activity sheets for you to create your own masterpiece, providing a virtual tour of Thanet and brought together what our attractions are doing
We love welcoming visitors but for now, just as the government is doing, we’re asking you to please stay alert, stay safe and adhere to social distancing guidelines
It’s beautiful here in Thanet and we usually shout about its unique offer and how great it is, all year round however, at the moment we’re asking you to please respect our coastline and other people and leave only your footprints in the sand.
These new rules mean that life is different for us all. If you were planning to visit our beautiful resorts but have had to put your visit on hold, we hope you can look forward to another visit in the future. If you’ve already booked accommodation or an activity, consider asking them if it is possible to delay your trip rather than refunding it or cancelling outright. It could really help a small business to weather this storm and still be there when you do come to stay.
While you may not be able to visit, if you’re using this time to plan a break for when we are free to travel and explore again, we are sharing calming, inspirational content on our social media channels. There are ideas on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and on our website www.visitthanet.co.uk.
We look forward to welcoming you back with open arms, as soon as it is safe to do so. Remember: this is temporary. We’ll see you all again soon
