A specialist workshop on fungi identification, habitat and growing conditions at Quex in Birchington
11am - 3pm
Join the garden team to look at the many mushrooms and toadstools growing around the garden.
Tips on how to identify different types of fungi, what to look for and where to look for them will be shared as we give a different tour of the garden, focusing on the variety of habitats they choose to grow in.
Enjoy a specialist workshop on fungi identification, habitat and growing conditions. We will provide everything you need to make your own mushroom-growing bucket to take home. You can also learn how to make beautiful spore prints with us- the perfect pairing of art and science.
A delicious vegetarian lunch will be prepared by Angelas of Margate and served next to the woodstove in the glorious Winter Garden Glasshouse.
Suitable for over 16’s.
