Hosted by local creatives, these 90 minute walking tours along the Margate seafront are every Sunday at 1pm from June to October
The walking tours cover the history and legends of Margate... from its rock 'n' roll souls to its creatives and comedy characters
The Rock Legends Tour starts at the Nayland Rock Hotel by Margate station and takes in several tour stops where the stars have visited and partied in Margate over the last 100 years - from the Nayland Hotel, to the Theatre Royal, to the Old Town and the Winter Gardens ....
... and finishes at the new Neon Gallery for coffee!
The Comedy Tour starts at The Shakespeare pub by Margate station and takes a funny look at several historical tour stops starting in 55AD through to modern ones featuring Bowie, Turner, Peter Sellers and the Mechanical Elephant along the seafront and into the old town ....
.... and finishes at Little Swift wine bar for those who choose to sample a summer drink!
