Ramsgate, and Thanet as a whole, has a long history of smuggling and skullduggery, so Plunder seems like the perfect choice for doing something a little different!
Plunder offers a selection of new books, along with pots of coffee, teas, and a variety of cakes, promising to be an old-fashioned haven.
Plunder also host the Thanet Smuggler Experience, a walk-though museum that shares some insight into Thanet’s dark past.
The bookshop also serves as an exhibition space, The Rogues Gallery, available for artists to hire on a monthly basis.
Also available to hire will be a training or office space called The Boardroom. This contains tables, chairs, and a projector if required, with enough space for up to 15 people wirh its own small kitchen and toilet, and can be hired by the day.
