Canterbury Musical Theatre Society presents a magical evening of theatre in unique surroundings at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns in Cliftonville, Margate.

5pm - 9pm (show starts at 6pm)

Step into the exciting world of “A Summer Spectacular”, an special evening at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns, where Canterbury Musical Theatre Society and Friends present a show that weaves together the most beloved songs from a variety of iconic musicals. From Les Misérables to Mary Poppins, this show is a tribute to the best of musicals.

All set against the stunning clifftops overlooking Walpole Bay in Margate, picture yourself unwinding with a refreshing cocktail or a cooling spritzer, soaking in the summer vibes as the sun sets over the horizon.

Featuring a talented cast from local groups, this production brings the magic of the theatre to life in a single, unforgettable performance.

Whether you’re a die-hard musical fan or new to the world of show tunes, this show promises to be a joyful and captivating experience for audiences of all ages.

The Oval Bar will be onsite serving a wide selection of drinks including beer, prosecco, wines, spirits, cocktails, and soft drinks. Hot drinks, cold drinks, popcorn and cinema treats will be available at The Oval Kiosk and Bar. They accept card payments, which is their preferred method of payment.

Please note that all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
