Glow Ride

22nd October 2026

Join in advocating for safer cycling for women at this joyful coastal ride from Margate to Westgate.

Start time: 5.30pm

Meeting point: at The Bike Shed by Margate Train Station - cycling to West Bay Cafe.

You will be cycling after dark, so wear high vis and decorate your bike in lights and reflectors!!

Music will be provided by local radio station Red Rebel FM throughout the ride with a DJ set by Lisa Stardust!

If you don’t have a bike you can hire from The Bike Shed for £5.

This ride is part of the ‘My ride. Our right’ mass glow rides night of action. All round the U.K. people will be lighting up the night and calling for safer streets and better cycling infrastructure, especially for women riding after dark.

Everyone welcome! Under 14 year olds will need to ride with an adult parent or guardian.
