Calling all curious creators to join the Powell Cotton Museum for a fun day of learning!

10am - 2pm

Join us for a hands-on day exploring the science of early photography — and make your very own Camera Obscura to take home.

Discover how this simple invention changed how we see the world, then build your own using everyday materials. You’ll also get to handle real historical photography objects from our collection and enjoy time to explore the Museum and Gardens.

10am - 11am is a quiet hour.
