Celebrate National Poetry Day with a selection of performers both celebrated and up-and-coming at Broadstairs' Best of Times bookshop & cafe

7pm - 9pm (doors open 6.30pm)

Join celebrated local poets and performers Maggie Harris, Jessica Taggart Rose, Poppy Cockburn, Tracey McEvoy and Ty and Ayesha Watling for a wondrous evening of poetry and music.

Grab a drink and enjoy the huge range of poetic and musical talent that Thanet has to offer.

Guest Poets include:

Maggie Harris “Formally inventive; always lyrical.” Winner of the Jhalak Prize.
Jessica Taggart-Rose, whose The River Has No Colour was recently translated by the Poetry Book Society.
Poppy Cockburn, Longlisted for the Jerwood Prize for First Collection.
Tracey McEvoy, author of Tell Us About Snow, “an impressive, stunning debut pamphlet.”
With music and poetry from Ty & Ayesha Watling.
