Explore the wonders of our planet, discover the magic of storytelling and become the hero of your very own book!

Join us at Happy Reading Children's Bookshop this October Half Term for a special interactive reading and creative mini book-making workshop with local author Daria Hugg, co-author of Guardians of the Four Forces.

Together, we'll journey through the four elements and the different habitats of our Earth, discovering the wonderful connections between nature, animals and our own bodies.

Daria will share her beautifully imaginative picture book, which combines poetry, artwork and interactive sticker storytelling, before inviting children to become authors and illustrators themselves!

Inspired by the story, each child will begin creating their very own mini book, imagining a world where they are the hero and main character.

Take home their handmade mini books to continue writing, drawing and exploring their imaginative worlds
