Screening of 1993 French musical documentary directed by Tony Gatlif at the 101 Social Club in Margate

3pm - 7pm

This stunning, award winning film by Tony Gatlif, who recently passed away, charts the sweep of gypsy music across many nations over the last 1,000 years... India, Syria, Turkey, Romania, Poland, and into Gypsy Jazz in France and Flamenco in Spain.

Each nation in the 90 minute film hosts an improvised musical performance… every person and every family there on the day can sit and watch… or dance along to!

Food and drinks will be available from the kitchen, and donations to this community event are welcomed.
