A refreshing coastal and countryside hike from Minnis Bay towards Westgate-on-Sea with Boots On Adventures

9.15am meet for 9.30am start

This varied route follows the coastline before heading inland through the quieter landscapes around Birchington, combining sea views, sandy bays, open fields and peaceful paths.

Along the way, you’ll pass through the seaside character of Westgate-on-Sea and enjoy changing views across the Thanet coastline.

The route then leaves the coast behind, giving you the chance to experience a quieter side of the area before completing the circuit.

This is a great choice for anyone who enjoys varied walking, fresh sea air and wide-open views without the feel of a busy coastal resort.

Expect plenty of opportunities to stop, take in the scenery, spot local wildlife and enjoy a relaxed social pace with fellow walkers.
