Ramsgate Community Cinema

Screening of this feature documentary at Ramsgate Community Cinema

7pm

The New Black Collective gave this 'inspirational' thought provoking and urgent documentary film 5 stars and many other 4/5 star reviews followed.

It takes us on a personal journey fighting for human rights that are still being violated against queer communities in African nations due to colonial history.

Director James Lewis captures the resilience and determination of contrasting activists who manage to share a fabulous and upbeat sense of humour despite their challenges.

Come and meet the director for a Q&A following the screening.

Premiered at this year's BFI Flare.
