Taking centre stage are Taking Care of Vegas and The Dukes of Swing, two fantastic live acts coming together for an afternoon packed with instantly recognisable songs, first-class musicianship and feel-good entertainment. The afternoon will move from the unmistakable music of Elvis Presley to the golden age of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and big-band swing, giving audiences two very different live shows on the same bill.
After playing to a packed audience at the recent Cliftonville Classic Car Show, Taking Care of Vegas return to The Oval with their signature big-band Vegas sound. Bringing the music of Elvis Presley to life with energy, style and a full live-band feel, expect favourites from across Elvis’s extraordinary catalogue, including Blue Suede Shoes, Devil in Disguise, I Only Want to Be With You, Return to Sender and plenty more. This is not a quiet tribute set!

The Dukes of Swing bring the glamour, sophistication and sheer joy of the golden age of swing to The Oval. Fronted by acclaimed jazz vocalist Benjamin Lock, this outstanding five-piece band perform swing, jazz and big-band favourites inspired by Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Duke Ellington and many more. The band have performed at prestigious venues across the UK including The Savoy, Claridge’s, Blenheim Palace, Leeds Castle, the Houses of Parliament, Fulham Palace, Lambeth Palace, Hever Castle, Hampton Court Palace, The Ivy and Hotel Café Royal.

Supporting The Oval Allstars is a fundraising event for The Oval Bandstand & Lawns.
The Oval is operated as a not-for-profit social enterprise, and income from this event will help them continue maintaining, improving and programming this much-loved community venue.
