Bringing together ten days to experience the town’s remarkable heritage, creativity and independent businesses for a celebration of all things autumnal, atmospheric and just a little bit Gothic
This autumn, Ramsgate is embracing its darker side…
Ramsgate Autumn Festival will take inspiration from the town itself... its Gothic architecture and Pugin heritage, literary connections, historic streets, underground spaces and, of course, the darker evenings of autumn.
Expect an eclectic programme of live music, literature and poetry, arts and culture, heritage, trails, talks, performances, workshops and special events, alongside plenty of opportunities to explore Ramsgate’s shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.
There’ll be a touch of the unexpected too, with ghosts and folklore, vintage and curious traditions, Halloween happenings and some suitably dark surprises along the way.
Whether you’re drawn to Dark Academia, Gothic architecture, local history, books and poetry, live music, or simply love Ramsgate in autumn, there’ll be plenty to discover.
The full Ramsgate Autumn Festival 2026 programme is currently being developed, with events and participating venues to be announced over the coming weeks.
