Rave! The Musical! concerns an illegal rave in Gloucester in 1989 - but steadfastly refuses to feature any music from that era at all.

It contains all the MGM-style musical tropes, including forbidden love, ludicrous plot twists, and vigorous dance routines. And it sets out to be very silly.
