Margate Arts Club

Red Rebel celebrates along with the Margate Sporefaring Festival opening party at Margate Arts Club!

6pm - 2am

Celebrate local FLINTA radio station Red Rebel FM's Second birthday at the one and only Margate Arts Club!

Margate Arts Club are incredibly proud to host this milestone as the official opening party for the Thanet Mushroom Festival 2026: Sporefaring.

Just like the subterranean fungi networks that sustain the world, our FLINTA station thrives on interconnected community roots.

Women were the world's first foragers after all, deeply attuned to the cycles of the earth and the hidden secrets of the soil. Today, that ancestral connection lives on and like mycelium beneath the earth, our FLINTA community grows quietly in the underground - sharing knowledge, building resilience and breaking through!

A very special party to celebrate this milestone, only made possible by the dedication, commitment and hard work of the fabulous DJs!!

A wicked lineup of Red Rebel FM hosts all evening! PLUS check out the art exhibition downstairs as part of the festival hosted by Salon community art gallery.

And there's also a mushroom costume making workshop to open the event where you can make your own mushie hat or accessories to wear!!
