Thanet's mushroom festival comes to the ARK in Cliftonville

Following the major success of its inaugural year, the Margate Mushroom Festival is returning this autumn with a bold new identity, an expanded footprint, and a weekend-long line-up of fungi-focused events.

Rebranded as Sporefaring, the festival will bring together a packed schedule of educational, creative, and culinary experiences to multiple venues across both Margate and Ramsgate.

The playful new name reflects a deep commitment to community, coastline, and the world of fungi.

Sporefaring is co-founded by Darryn de la Soul (founder of Margate Mushrooms) and Sarah Whiting Blowers (founder of Naturehood Thanet), whose ongoing collaboration aims to make the fascinating world of mushrooms accessible to everyone.
