Margate-based duo Jessica Berry and Graham Godfrey perform at Where Else? in Margate
Doors open 7pm
The duo co-writes, co-records, and co-produce all of their music in their seaside studio, HaloHalo, located in Margate, Kent.
Nearly a decade ago, Jessica and Graham left the hustle of London to cultivate a space where they could focus on their prolific expression, free from the city’s distractions. Their debut album, A Beat To Make It Better (2023), was met with critical acclaim, celebrated for its unique blend of Soul, Lo-fi Hip-hop, and Psych influences.
Thandii’s music is like a secret recipe – it takes fragments of different genres and blends them into something unexpectedly smooth.
In their music, diversity isn’t just celebrated – it’s amplified. Through radical eclecticism, they birth a fusion that beats with a pulse of humanity, kindling love and mutual admiration.
With praise and radio support from BBC Radio 6’s Lauren Laverne, Gilles Peterson, Craig Charles, and Radio X’s John Kennedy, Thandii is poised to step into the spotlight.
