June 21st 2025 will be Cockles and Muscles 10th birthday. Ten years of fun queer arty parties in Margate!

From 6pm

Cockles and Muscles parties started in Margate is 2015. Over the years we have run parties in The Lido, Dreamland and Arts Club. From pride after parties, halloween parties to lots of fun silly dress up, drag, cabaret and dance parties. Cockles champions local drag and DJ talent and is known for playing the best pop and disco bangers, meaning the dance floor is full all night, always!

In ten years many queer legends have graced the Cockles stage and decks including Jonny Woo, Jodie Harsh, Glyn Fussell, Bourgeois and Maurice, Jonbers Blonde, Jacqui Potato, Ted Rogers, Just May, Eppie Conrad, Loose Baker, Robyn WithaY, Pink Suits, T33n Angst, Atabey, Janet District Council, The Diety, Tolu, Chuck, Archii, Shelly Grotto, Casey Sea, Alotta Hell, Lo Lo No and so many more. Cockles is proud to be a stage for fostering and nurturing local and global queer talent.

June 21st will be a special one, starting early with happy hour and shows in the garden from 6. The theme is birthday party, so get those party hats out and that spangly outfit you were saving for a social occasion. We would also love to see any of those costumes or outfits you wore before, dust them off! This is that occasion! It’s also summer solstice, so it’s going to be extra magical vibes.
