The Man In The Cellar

23rd October 2026

The Alley Bar

Solo production, written and performed by Clive Holland, at Ramsgate's Alley Bar

7.30pm - 9.30pm

A man hides in the darkness of a cellar, with only a corpse and his past for company. The world outside is filled with monsters. Inside the cellar, the monsters are in his head.

They say that the split second before death your life flashes by in front of you … his worry, is that he isn’t in it … just an innocent bystander to his own existence!

This solo production, written and performed by Clive Holland, is a disturbing and humorous tale of despair, shame, madness and circus clowns!

As it slithers and slides to a quiet conclusion through the mire of surviving a world that no-one understands, it will entertain, enlighten and probably bewilder. Enjoy the adventure.

The Performance lasts roughly 1 hour without an interval.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions or make suggestions about the performance.
