Situated below the blue plaque dedicated to Oliver Postgate, the plaque commemorates the hit children's television show 'The Clangers' written by Oliver Postgate at his home in Broadstairs.
Oliver Postgate was an English animator, puppeteer, and writer, famous for creating and writing some of Britain's most popular children's television programmes - Bagpuss, Noggin the Nog, Ivor the Engine and Clangers.
The plaque was made by local mosaic artist Martin Cheek.
