Fashion Exhibition Space founded in 2024 by Dr Cyana Madsen and Anthony Sylvester.

The Studio was founded in response to the lack of free, independent sites in the UK for experimental displays and events exploring the dressed body, material culture, and fashion more broadly.

They run an open call periodically, hosting a range of artists, curators, and researchers in their micro-exhibition space free of charge, particularly championing displays of work-in-progress and developing concepts, as well as welcoming established practitioners.

They aim to provide collaborative, innovative, and engaging displays and create open dialogues between contributors and the local community to celebrate thinking around fashion, outside of a major cultural centre.

Because they are a non-profit collective, and the Studio is self-funded, the support of the community ensures they can continue to offer this space free of charge.
