Created by ceramicist Violet Shaw, an old barn has been lovingly renovated to offer a nurturing and peaceful space for classes and memberships, as well as being the base for Violet’s own practice, @VioletShawPottery.
Violet has taught hundreds of pottery classes, ran a ceramic studio, passed Cordon Bleu in London and even opened a pub! Alongside all of this, she has also grown and nurtured a thriving creative practice of her own based out of her home studio in Margate.
Pottery in the Yard is the next iteration of Violet’s creative journey in ceramics. Offering a space for others to learn and thrive, and a calm retreat set amongst nature, she couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead!
