Event held in aid of the Sir Edward Heath Charitable Foundation at the Sarah Thorne Theatre in Broadstairs
2.30pm - 4pm
Acclaimed writer and broadcaster Iain Dale returns to Broadstairs after last year's sell-out triumph, this time to chair a remarkable panel, to mark 100 years of Margaret Thatcher, Britain's first woman Prime Minister.
Joining Iain for this event will be former cabinet minister Sir John Redwood, who ran Mrs Thatcher's Policy Unit; former cabinet minister Virginia Bottomley, who served in Mrs. Thatcher's government; former deputy speaker of the House of Commons Sir Roger Gale MP; and the distinguished writer and performer Steve Nallon, who has played Mrs. Thatcher on stage to universal praise and provided her voice for the "Spitting Image" television series.
The event is held in aid of the Sir Edward Heath Charitable Foundation, which exists to support young musicians in the early stages of their careers.
