Active Parks - Street Sport in Dane Park

Come to Dane Park this summer and try badminton, volleyball, football, basketball, rounders and more.

10.30am - 11.30am (every Thursday)

Thanet District Council are going to be getting active this Summer in Dane Park for free thanks to funding from Active Kent and Medway.

Come and try badminton, rounders, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball and more. You do not need to be good at sport or have done any of the activities before to come and play.

The Thursday 10.30 am - 11.30 am session is free for all ages and abilities that are free on a Thursday morning including any young people not in school or being home-schooled. They would love the whole community to come and try a new activity in Dane Park.

Sorcha Page is going to lead this session and will be on hand to give coaching tips and set up activities but they will welcome any ideas for games and are looking for volunteers and a next generation of coaches to help them all summer
