A joint exhibition of work by Alexander Johnson and Mole Hill across a range of media from oil painting to animation, at Margate's Pie Factory.
11am to 5pm
Award winning artist Alexander Johnson has learnt from the classical artists he admires – Rembrandt, Goya, Velazquez – that paintings need a sense of mystery if they are to be interesting for longer than a few seconds. His distinctive style is confident, using wry humour to make serious subject matter palatable and hold your eye. He has recently exhibited at Hastings Contemporary, Towner Eastbourne, RA Summer Shows, along with regular solo exhibitions
