A show of new collaborative works between Jayne Wright and Ted Rogers at the Liminal Gallery in Margate
Open Thursday, Friday & Saturday 11am - 4pm
Ted Rogers is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Margate, England. With their work always originating from movement - Ted focuses on the deeply emotional aspects of humanity; expulsion, failure, spaciousness, and vulnerability - with an approach that is intuitive and spiritual.
Drawing and painting is an extension of movement - a way of tracing presence, and atmosphere. Increasing attention is given to destruction and the way things fall apart.
Jayne Wright is a West Yorkshire born musician and artist now based in Margate, Kent. Wright has a BA hons in Creatives Arts and PGCEs in teaching D&T and music and managing secondary education. Since moving to Margate in 2021 she has been exploring her ceramic practice. Projects include The Mermaid Army (sculptures, plaques and tiles), Thanet Tiles of Joy (a community ceramic project with over 1000 local participants), Water Features, Tulip Vases and Reusables. Her work is steeped in narrative and she likes to explore positivity and joy.
