ELZ presents, BABESLAM: the open mic where the audience picks a winner at Where Else? in Margate

Doors open 7pm

Open micers will compete for the BABESLAM title. This can be poetry, performance or comedy - as long as they stick to their time limit! This months theme is: It's all coming back to me now!

How it works: Based on a poetry slam format, each performance will be scored by 3 random members of the audience. The highest score wins, and the winning performer will headline the next slam. Expect laughs, lager, and lots and lots of words.

Special guests: This slam will be headlined by previous winner, Death Star Laser Eye Surgery!

How do I get a slot? At every show they want to give a platform to new voices, first timers, and those coming out of performance hibernation. You do not need any prior experience to sign up for a slot. If you are interested in performing, or need to access more information, contact ELZ at @babe.slam (instagram) or babeslamslots@gmail.com.
