The first major of the year, the British Minigolf Championships returns to one of the UK’s premier courses, Strokes Adventure Golf on Westbrook Promenade
Features of the course this year include water hazards, three-tier greens, ramps, tunnels and chutes, all strategically designed to test skill and nerve at the highest level. The course also includes the notorious Hole 11 “Heartbreak Ridge” – one of the most feared “risk and reward” holes on the British minigolf circuit – where a score of 7 is just as likely as an ace (hole-in-one).
More than 50 competitors are expected to take part in the prestigious two-day event, including:
The tournament will consist of seven rounds of stroke-play – four on Saturday and three on Sunday.
Award ceremony takes place Sunday mid-afternoon.
