Olby's Soul Cafe

A spoken word open mic night with live music accompaniment at Olby's Soul Cafe in Margate

8pm - 10pm

An evening where poets and musicians can turn up and perform together to create spoken word performances with a musical or sonic backdrop.

All are welcome, regardless of skill level or background... Just bring your beautiful words and sounds.

The music will be created in the format of an improvised jam session, which means musicians can turn up and play together to create music for the evening! The aim is to create music that complements and enriches the narrative or feeling of the spoken word acts.
