Joint show by father-daughter artists, Dominic Harper and Ciara Quilty-Harper at Margate's Pie Factory.

Side of a Hill brings together a body of work by father-daughter artists, Dominic Harper and Ciara Quilty-Harper, for their first joint show. Their paintings, drawings and objects recreate the interiors and natural surroundings of a remote former farmhouse that became the stimulus for over 10 years of work.

Ciara Quilty-Harper is an illustrator and artist living in Barcelona, whose work is regularly featured in the New York Times. Her first book, Lemon Yellow, has won several awards. Ciara is currently working on her second book.

Dominic Harper worked in art and design education, he lives and has exhibited in East Kent, including the Turner Gallery (award winning in 2019) and the Pie Factory. He has coordinated and collaborated within the SEAS group of artists and other local groups, recently in a pop-up gallery in the former Original Factory Shop in Deal.
