Johnny Henfrey sets the tone for Creative Circle's welcome party at Margate's Faith In Strangers... and if you know his sets, you already know this is worth showing up early for!

8.30pm - 12.30am (bar open from 6pm / dinner service 6.30pm - 8.30pm)

Henfrey has built a reputation across the south east for reading a room with rare instinct - the kind of DJ who understands that the beginning of an evening is its own art form. There's no rush, no performance of cool, just a genuine feel for where people are and where they could be. He moves between genres with conviction rather than restlessness, and the results tend to stick with you longer than you expect.

Creative Circle is doing exactly what its name suggests - pulling together the people who make things happen in and around Margate, giving them a proper space to connect. Faith In Strangers is a fitting home for it. The venue has quietly become one of the more interesting rooms on the coast, the kind of place that takes its music and its atmosphere seriously without taking itself too seriously.

This is a welcome party in the truest sense. New faces, familiar ones, and the particular energy that comes when a creative community decides to be in the same place at the same time with good sound underpinning everything.
