Waste Will Save US returns to the Windmill Community Gardens for an upcycling session
1pm - 3pm
At this workshop you will using the art of cyanotype to create artwork on fabric... foraging objects and botanical specimens from the gardens including leaves and flowers to be used in the session. You will get to keep the fabric swatches which can be used for garment patches or artwork to frame.
Materials will be provided including pre prepared sensitised fabric swatches and additional tools to be used in the session including stencils, cut out letters for spelling words and waste trash materials.
Whether you're a seasoned photographer crafter or a beginner, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity, merging DIY customisation with ritualistic immersive practices.
To further boost your creativity and in keeping with the ritual ethos your senses will be immersed in scent and sound.
Moroccan mint tea will be served with Mint picked from the gardens, and music will be played.
