West African folk melodies collide with experimental electronics at Where Else? in Margate
Doors open 7pm, starts at 9.15pm
The first full band outing in almost 3 years for Falle Nioke's genre melding solo project.
Heavily championed by BBC 6 Music, the Guinea-born, now Margate-based, singer and multi instrumentalist Falle Nioke has captivated audiences across the world with his addictive brand of mercurial afro-pop.
After years spent perfecting his blended sound, which mixes West African rhythms with experimental electronic music - plus notable collaborations with the likes of Barry Can't Swim and Hot Chip's Joe Goddard - Nioke is now set to release his astounding debut album Love From The Sea on 26th September via Eat Your Own Ears Recordings.
