Join the Powell-Cotton Museum for their much-loved Teddy Bears’ Picnic Family Hub session...
These free drop-in sessions are open to all parents, carers and children under 5.
Come along at any time (from 11am - 2pm) and enjoy a relaxed day of play, discovery and outdoor fun.
Bring your favourite teddy and join in for stories, activities, creative play and plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy a picnic.
There’ll be space to run around in the Gardens, visit the Museum, and take part in hands-on activities inspired by the collections.
As many activities will take place outdoors, please come prepared for the weather with sun cream, hats, drinks and anything else your little ones may need to stay comfortable. Don’t forget to bring your Family Hub Card for £1 entry. If you don’t have one yet, you can collect one on the day.

Family loyalty cards are welcome. These are given to users of Thanet Children’s Centres on request and admit adults and over 5s for £1 each, under 5s go free.
