Make your own fresh-foliage wreath using materials from Quex Gardens in Birchington
Saturday 29th November, Sunday 30th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December, 10am-3pm
Step into the magic of winter with an exclusive Seasonal Festive Wreath-Making Experience in Quex Gardens.
The day begins at 10am in the restored Winter Garden glasshouse, warming by the woodstove with coffee for a gentle introduction to the gardens. From there, you will explore the grounds, discovering the evergreens and gather fresh foliage to create your own seasonal decorations that have inspired winter traditions for centuries.
A vegetarian lunch, prepared by the Green Michelin Star restaurant Angela’s of Margate using homegrown produce from the gardens, will be served at mid-day.
After lunch, Head Gardener Sue Harris and the garden team will lead the wreath-making workshop, guiding participants from classic traditional styles to fully plastic-free designs. Every guest will leave with a handmade wreath to take home.
