Handwritten! Writing becomes drawing in this retrospective of Gary Dadd’s genre-bending art.

Artworks of iconic figures from pop culture created by writing their words while simultaneously creating a graphic, striking and memorable portraits.

This exhibition will feature a mixture of new works and prints dating back to the first Handwritten! artwork in 2016, and includes artworks of icons from music, film and popular culture.

Gary has exhibited in London’s Somerset House, Gellery88 in LA, Margate, Cambridge and more. Since jumping into the art world as a professional in 2021 Gary has sold work to the US, China, across Europe, Canada and Australia. He grew up in Thanet, and now lives in Cambridge with his teenage son.
