Start time: 10am
Hanami (花見, "flower viewing") is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers.
Peter Hasted will expertly guide you through the park, whilst sharing his knowledge of trees and the story of ‘Cherry’ Ingram. Come and celebrate the arrival of spring, soak up the beauty and connect with nature.
"Having attended several tree walks organised by Peter Hasted, I have been thoroughly impressed with his breadth of knowledge of both trees and the areas he has presented talks in. He has an engaging personality, ensuring large groups of people are kept engaged by using his extensive use of facilitating skills." - Derek
