Join Nicci this October half term to celebrate the brand new Adventuremice book at Staple in St Peters

9.30am - 10am

Join Nicci at Happy Reading Children’s Bookshop for a very special Kid’s Book Club celebrating this delightfully charming, super-cute and friendship-filled 7th instalment in the award-winning Adventuremice series, from superstar collaborators Philip Reeve & Sarah McIntyre.

When Uncle Bernie turns up with his incredible Mechanical Mole machine, the Adventuremice go on a mission! Pedro and the crew burrow to an underground cave world, unlike anything they've ever seen. There are tiny, twisty trees, and even tinier pterodactyls! But there's also a HAMSTERSAURUS REX on the loose!

Can the team save the nervous local cavemice from this giant predator, or is there more to the creature than meets the eye?

Each child will enjoy: A read-along with Nicci, book-inspired activities perfect for young imaginations and an Adventuremice certificate to take home

And every child takes home their own copy of the book to keep!

During the session, the responsible adult(s) are very welcome to enjoy their favourite coffee and pastry downstairs at STAPLE or come and hang out upstairs in the bookshop!!

Children will sit for the reading, then move to a play/craft table for activities. All materials are provided and age-appropriate.
